Admissions to Stonebow Primary School

Stonebow welcomes applications from parents/carers who would like their children to attend our school.   Our catchment area map is below.

The closing date for applications is 15th January 2024.

Children are eligible for a school place at the beginning of the autumn term after their 4th birthday. Applications must be made to the Local Authority (Leicestershire. County Council) by the 15th January for admission the following autumn. Parents and Carers who miss this deadline may be at risk of not being offered their first choice place.

Although Stonebow Primary School became an Academy in February 2013, parents/carers cannot apply directly to the school. All applications must be made via the Leicestershire County Council Admissions Service, using the following link:

We recommend you make an appointment and visit us to see if our provision will meet your child’s individual needs. Following this you can apply online via the link above and seek ‘information for mid- term (in year) transfers’.
