Artwork: Camouflaged Predators - January 2017

Inspired by the Chinese artist, Liu Bolin (also known as the 'invisible man') Class 12 have been creating some fantastic artwork of camouflaged predators.

We began by sketching our choice of predator onto cartridge paper, this was quite tricky and took lots of perseverance and concentration (two of our Stonebow Learning Powers).

We then painted our animal using water colours, making sure we selected the relevant colours to ensure our predator was realistic.

To ensure our animals were 'camouflaged' we had to create leaves with block printing ink and polystyrene tiles, using a mono printing technique.
