Goodbye Mrs. Darmon

Today (Wednesday 14th December) we said an emotional goodbye to Carol Darmon, our much loved and respected Foundation Stage teacher, as she retires from her post at Stonebow.

Mrs Darmon is 'one of a kind' who has so many lovely qualities - she is patient, understanding, compassionate and full to the brim with knowledge and skills that have given hundreds of children such a good start to their education.  Words cannot express how much she will be missed by the children, parents and staff alike.

During our goodbye assembly this morning, the children sang our own version of 'Mama Mia' as a tribute to her.

She also thoroughly enjoyed listening to the children's happy memories of her and  taking part as judge Mary Berry in our very own 'Stonebow Bake off' when the teachers had to decorate a cake in her likeness.

Can you see the resemblance?

Thank you Mrs Darmon for all you have given to Stonebow - it wont be the same without you.
