Dance Maynia 2022
On Friday 24th June Stonebow were invited to the School Games Summer Festival which took place at Loughborough University to represent North Charnwood in the Dance Maynia
event. We were lucky enough to be invited to this event as our Year 6 Dance Leaders won a local dance competition with the reward being a place at the School Games Summer
Festival. On the day the children learned 4 different styles of dance ranging from Jazz to Bollywood! In each style the children learned a dance and performed it at the end of each session. At the closing ceremony the Dance Leaders then performed their famous winning ‘Tears’ dance routine to all teams at the event, which took a lot of courage!
