Artwork: Pointillism - September 2016
During the first week of term the whole school participated in a variety of creative activities inspired by the book 'Zoom' by Istvan Banyai.
Class 12 used images from the book to master the technique 'Pointillism'.
Pointillism is a technique of painting where small, distinct dots of colour are applied in patterns to form an image. The technique was originally developed by Georges Seurat and Paul Signac in 1886.
We all enjoyed using our viewfinder to create our image which you will be able to see on display in the Year 5/6 corridor.
