Friends of Stonebow - Summer Fair 2016

The sun was shining when we opened at 11am and despite a few showers during the course of the event, the visitors were not put off.  We had so much on offer to keep everyone entertained, that there were lots of smiling faces in the playground, the hall and even on the school field. Visitors took part in activities like; archery, go-karting, clay model making, finding the dinosaur egg, football shoot out, hook-a-duck, welly wanging and so much more.

There were also some fantastic prizes available in the raffle which was drawn at the end of the day by Mrs. Fines with the winners announced over the PA system.

Children's bike - Boo James (Year 1)

Leicester City Tour - Avni Gokal (Year 4)

Congratulations to everyone who won prizes.

A huge thank you to 'Friends of Stonebow' who organised the event. Also to the parents/ carers who made donations and for all the staff and volunteers who helped out on the day. The proceeds from this years' fair will be used towards improving our outside courtyard between the library and Miss Logue's classroom enabling the children to use this as an extended learning environment.

On the day we took £1,580, so what a success the day was!

Please have a look through the photos to see how much fun we all had.
