Today we held our annual Harvest Assembly at school, celebrating with family and friends. The children in Key Stage 1 and 2 sang harvest songs and recited poems to our audience of parents and carers.
This year we were raising money for the charity 'The Bridge' which provides housing related advice and support for people across Leicestershire and Rutland. In order to raise money each class brought in donations of food tp make a harvest basket and the purchased raffle tickets to win the contents of the basket.
During the assembly Mr Brockless drew the raffle for each of the classes and the delighted children and parents collected their winning hampers.
