Marvellous Mathematicians

Over the last couple of weeks in Maths, we have been doing lots of work on division. We have learnt how to divide numbers by grouping, sharing and arrays. This week we used our Stonebow Learning Power of Cooperation to work in groups for a division investigation.

We used lollipop sticks to investigate the different patterns that are made when we divide numbers by 3, 4 and 5. We calculated how many lollipop sticks were left over in each pattern and discussed patterns that we saw in our table of results.
