Hello children, it’s Mr. Lees here, I would also like to say a ‘hello’ to all the people at home who love and care for you too.
Well, here we are in our new classroom and I want to share a very warm welcome to you into year 3 or indeed year 4. For some of you it’s your first experience of KS2 from Y2 (from infants to juniors) and for some it might even be your second year in my classroom from Y3 to Y4! However, what I wanted to say is, despite the strange year we have had so far I am really looking forward to being your teacher in September.
We have a lot of great experiences to share with you for our starting topic of The Rainforests and whilst we get to either reacquaint ourselves or meet for the first time, we will be investigating the creatures and the people that live in that amazing part of our world and it also links beautifully with our Autumn science theme: Living things and their habitats.
We will be studying our core subjects of English and Maths of course, and together with PE, French, Music and a host of other subjects we are going to have a lot of fun.
Please be reassured that there will always be someone on hand from the Y3&4 team and in the wider school to talk to and help you every step of the way.
So I’ll say bye-bye for now, but can’t wait to meet you again and welcome you back to our school.
See you soon! Bye!
