Outdoor Survival Activity Day - May 2016
In recognition of their hard work during the SATs, the Year 6 children took part in a range of outdoor activities, on the school field on Friday 13th May. These included: wood chopping, fire lighting and archery. Mr Lees, Miss Robinson and Mrs Halford led these activities with every child participating, showing Stonebow Learning Powers of; perseverance, resilience, co-operation, curiosity and enthusiasm.
To finish off the day we toasted marshmallows on the open fire and placed them into chocolate digestive biscuits to make delicious 'smores' yummy!! A great day was had by all the staff and children and a fun way to learn a range of new skills.
