About Us
Headteacher’s Welcome
We welcome parents into school for viewing our facilities, please contact the school office to make a mutually convenient appointment.
Stonebow Primary School is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities, academically and socially. We encourage our pupils to use their ‘Stonebow Powers’, to develop a positive attitude and mindset, to prepare them for life in today’s modern world.
Through our ‘Pupil Leadership Teams’, the children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are safe, happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs, both now and in the future.
Our engaging curriculum, ensures that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded education; where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure that all children experience success and reach their full potential, whilst ensuring that they possess the key skills in English and Maths, ready for next phase of their education.
The dedicated and hardworking Stonebow team, are determined to set and reach high standards in progress, attainment, behaviour and everything we do. This is further embedded, through our successful relationships with governors, parents, the local community and the other schools in the Loughborough Primary Academy Partnership.
We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as an active partner in your child's education and very much value your interest and support. I look forward to seeing you in school regularly, to build this crucial partnership.
We are building bridges to a brighter future!
