School History

Stonebow Primary School was opened in 1991 and provides accommodation and facilities for over 300 children. The school comprises of:

• 8 classrooms
• a fiction and non-fiction library
• a large hall
• small group teaching ‘quiet’ rooms
• a school office and small reception area
• a purpose built EYFS base
• a pre-school, Little Pebbles (provided by PlayFit)

The school is situated in extensive grounds with: 

• a large sports field (used for football, tag rugby, athletics and other activities)
• an outdoor classroom
• hard play areas
• a wooden trim trail
• a Forest School area
