First Time Admissions

Children are eligible for a school place at the beginning of the Autumn Term after their 4th birthday. Applications must be made to the Local Authority (Leics. County Council) by the 15th January for admission the following autumn. Parents and Carers who miss this deadline may be at risk of not being offered their first choice place.

Although Stonebow Primary School became an Academy in February 2013, Parents and Carers cannot apply directly to the school. All applications must be made via the Leicestershire County Council Admissions Service using the admissions application forms. These are available online by following this link.

Admissions application page.

Alternatively you can telephone admissions on 0116 305 6684

We also follow the LA policy on oversubscription which can be read by clicking on this link.

Our Admission Appeal form can be found below.

If you have moved in to the area or are considering a change in school, please contact us to find out the availability of places. Our maximum pupil number is different for each year group so we do not always have places to offer. We recommend you make an appointment and visit us to see if our provision will meet your child’s individual needs. Following this, if places are available, you can apply online via the link above and seek ‘information for mid- term (in year) transfers’.
