Music

Our strong links with local brass musicians at Hathern Band and a dedicated weekly brass teacher from Charnwood College form an inspirational and aspirational musical experience for our children.

Our Brass Players

In partnership with Charnwood College and the Leicestershire Music Cultural Trust, we are thrilled to offer heavily subsidised brass lessons, in small groups, with new and free instruments loaned to each participating student.
Learning to play a brass instrument is not only a fun and rewarding experience but also offers numerous benefits for your child’s development. From improved concentration and coordination to fostering creativity and self-expression, music education has a profound impact on academic and personal growth.
Hannah Matthews is a graduate from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and currently teaches at Charnwood College. She will be delivering engaging and high-quality Brass lessons tailored to each student. Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience with brass instruments, we welcome all students to join us on this musical journey.
